“Our family of eleven has chosen to give to charity instead of exchanging Christmas gifts among adults. This contribution is being sent in lieu of a gift for my brother in law. I know he will be happy about it. Thanks for all our work so our military can have a bright moment amid a bleak situation. Barbara”

“Operation Santa is a wonderful Christmas experience. Thank you for creating this wonderful opportunity to share with our troops! I was In Florida in Sept. My sister and a neighbor shopped with me filling a huge suitcase of goodies on the Santa list. What a fun time! They loved being involved! I brought home a HUGE suitcase full of provisions from them. May God bless and protect our military men and women. Jack & Donna”

My mom who is 76 years old made 48 Christmas stockings for the collection. I had given her one of the patterns and instructions and thought she would use some of her material scraps to make a few basic stockings. I couldn't believe the decorations and detail she put into them! And there were so many!! I am especially proud of her because in 2001 she hurt her shoulder. After a few surgeries, she still has problems with it. I just wanted to share.
